Isaiah 58: 6 - 8: It not this the fast that I have chosen? To loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? When thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? The shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily and thy righteousness shall go before thee: the glory of the Lord shall be thy rereward.

Dear Ones, we thank you for being part of our team here. This month we were able to assist:

Sunshine Kids (Sir Lowry’s Pass)

Lathi-Tha Day Care (Sir Lowry's Pass Village)

The Soup Kitchen (Sir Lowry's Pass Village)

Mila’s Angels (Sir Lowry's Pass Village)

and Emily’s Soup Kitchen (Sir Lowry's Pass Village) with supplies such as:
Personal hygiene (for which we thank Dis-Chem for their active participation), food sullpies for which we thank Rite Cuts; Spar; Trumpet Tree; a fellow missionary base and everyone else who assisted in some way. As a team we are able to make a difference in the lives of many. We may not realize the extend now, but no deed of kindness is ever wasted

The core of our youth group received certificates of achievement for having completed the DHT manual, that has equipped them to go out and preach the Gospel, lay hands on the sick and see them recover, etc. We are very proud of them and celebrated with cake and coffee!

This picture shows Rita ministering Daphne,

and here we are in the streets of Sir Lowry’s Pass Village teaching Peter (center) how to put into practice what he has been learning about ministering to others.

We would like to especially thank Rite Cuts who has saved many a “rainy day” at the soup kitchen through their dependable and regular supply of meaty soup bones, mince and boerewors. Here is a delicious meal of rice and mince about to be served out. Sad to say we are going through some difficult times where we have not been able to provide a warm meal for lack of supplies/funds. Please uphold this situation in your prayers.
