Dear friends, partners and family,
An exciting new chapter of our work is now in full swing—that of running the online Bible course from Andrew Wommack Charis Bible College in Sir Lowry’s Pass, offering them an amazing opportunity that might not otherwise be available to them. In the photo below Rita is introducing the course, explaining the set up, etc.
In the last photo we are distributing bread, crackers, etc to the students. We want to thank Dis-Chem for assisting us in ministering to this needy community.
LIFE GROUP -- BIBLE STUDENTS:
Besides running the Bible school we also teach Bible classes once a week. Here we are singing and praising the Lord before the class starts. After the class clothes received from friends was distributed!
This month we purchased the bungalow below to empower three sister (see below) to start up a business. The bungalow will be used for a hair salon and shop. They are already cooking and selling burgers and fries on the weekend. The first round was a great success. Bottom photo: Some happy satisfied customers!
We also enabled another women to start a small project of selling candy apples at a school.
We thank Woolworths for twice weekly providing supplies for the soup kitchen in Sir Lowry's Pass.
Leon's Duck Farm once again assisted us with several boxes of much appreciated ducks.
We also thank our friends from Slow Market who when possible send their extra food at the end of the day to help some of the needy families we are assisting.
MILK AND DIS-CHEM SUPPLIES:
Each month we distribute 100 liters of fresh milk, and this month we also distributed approx. 10 boxes of Dis-Chem supplies.
SUNSHINE KIDS, SIR LOWRY'S PASS:
BRIGHT STARS, NOMZAMO:
We are having a temporary venue change at the church and are meeting in a cinema for the next few weeks. A couple of newcomers wandered in and were wonderfully saved and filled with the Holy Spirit after having sat in on an awesome teaching by Pieter Weenink.
