Newsletter November 2018

Dear Ones,      We are keeping you all in our prayers as we are entering the festive season which for many of us can also be challenging with the many demands that follow. Nevertheless we rest in the Lord and trust that He will live and move and work in us to accomplish His will. We are already overjoyed to report the following:

OVER HALF A TON OF ICE-CREAM:

Over half a ton of ice cream was generously donated by our friends from Helping Hand. It was distributed to: 5 soup kitchens, and 8 ECD (Early Childcare Development) centers, as well as to each of our students, etc.

LOADS OF CLOTHING:

We want to thank our dear friends as well as our precious Gracelife family for all the clothing, etc that was donated to our work this month. As the following photos shows it was distributed to some of the most needy families!

Top and below: some of the women going through the clothing and picking out things for themselves and their families. We send a BIG THANK YOU to all of you who blessed us with this       clothing.

As mentioned earlier we also distributed 6 boxes of Dis-Chem this month, some of which is also seen in the photo here. We thank Dis-Chem for their faithful support over the years.

BIBLE STUDY GROUPS:

Seen here and in some of the following pages are some of our student groups. These are people that through studying the truth of God’s Word and being built up from the inside out will never again be the same. As seen in the photo here the Lord is raising up more leaders from our ranks and here Emily is teaching one of our news groups that basics of Christianity from the course Rooted, developed by Shayne B. Holesgrove.

This Life Group, which is being run by Philip, is going though a course by Berry Bennett on Healing!

Another group, run by Rita, studying through the Rooted course.

Seen here are our Bible School students who are diligently studying and have already passed several tests!

Another group studying ‘How to Become Water Walkers’ by A. Wommack learning some of the basic laws of faith.

Some of us (seen on the front row) also attended a workshop for women on ‘Spirit, Soul and Body’ run by Gracelife.

To celebrate a year well spent (although it has not yet come to a close) we met together for a delicious braai with some of the other group leaders. Here we are talking  as everyone was giving the opportunity to share testimonies!

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES:

Once again THANK YOU to Dis-Chem for their faithful and much appreciated support!

We also thank Woolworths for assisting Joyce’s soup kitchen twice weekly. A tremendous help and blessing!

A big THANK YOU to SFA Sweetlands for assisting us with lots of goodies for party-packs for the children. A team has already been assembled that will meet to stuff and prepare approximately 150 Party-Packs! Thank you!

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO GBFF:

We are very thankful to Gordon’s Bay’s Business Forum for recognizing our work in the community and this year assisting us with a donation towards the work. Thank you sooo  much. We feel very honored!

Thank you to each and everyone who is partnering with us. We are very grateful for all that we through the help of the Lord and as a team are able to accomplish. We are also very happy to show that progress is being made in our goal towards getting a much needed 9-seater for the ministry. We are still on the look-out for the right vehicle and if any of you come across something suitable please inform us. Thank you!

In closing we again want to THANK those of you that are backing us up and enabling us to carry one. If any of you reading this are not yet partnering with us, but would like to do so, please do not hesitate. For more information contact us on: force4good.fvs@gmail.com.
