CHRISTMAS APPEAL 2022
We would
like to start by thanking each and everyone of our partners and
supporters. We would also like to rejoice with everyone that we again
this year can look forward to spending the Christmas/New Year season
with our family and loved ones. What we used to take for granted has
become very precious to us indeed.
As we know there are people for whom this season might pass
without celebration except if we as a team step in to ensure that
everyone has a touch of the extra joy this season brings.
For this we would like to appeal to you for help us to:
Serve a Christmas meal in Sir Lowry’s Pass for approximately 120 people on the 18th of December 2022.
We would also like to provide a small surprise (a goodie bag) for approximately 300 children.
Following is a list of items needed and for the meal:
4 boxes of chicken (40-50 kg)
5 kg frozen mixed vegetables
10 kg rice
20 kg potatoes
5 kg onions
Cooking Oil
Spices (for barbequing the chicken)
20 kg Ice-cream
200 + Cookies/waffles to go with the ice-cream
4 sacks of coal for the braai
Wood –- For the braai
20 liters of juice
200 Paper cup
200 Paper plates
200 Plastic forks
200 Plastic spoons
200 Serviettes
Goodies bags (for approximately 300 children)
Cookies
Jelly beans
Fruit
Juice
Sweets in general
Bags for the goodies bags
Ribbon for tying
