LIONS' HIGHEST HUMANITARIAN AWARD:

THE LOUIS VOLKS AWARD:

We want to thank the Lions for their generous acknowledgment of our labors of love in the surrounding communities.
During our last meeting with them they bestowed upon us the greatest Humanitarian Award granted within the Lions’ South African organization.
It has been an honor for us to serve and we have met many precious and dedicated people on our journey!

S.A. HARVESTER:

We are very thankful to S. A. Harvester and the abundant supply. Several kitchens in Sir Lowry’s Pass and Nomzamo are benefiting.
Below: Supplies ready to be loaded. We are always served with much kindness and are never expected to load the good ourselves for which we are very grateful!

S.A. HARVESTER DISTRIBUTION:
ANGELS' KITCHEN SIR LOWRY'S PASS:

Here we are seen delivering supplies to Angels’ Kitchen in Sir Lowry’s Pass. They again serve people in two areas: from their house and by the train tracks. They use a wheelbarrow to carry the food to the children living by the tracks.

BRIGHT STARS, NOMZAMO:

Bright Stars in Nomzamo serve 2-300 people five days a week. Children and adults alike!

OTHER SUPPLIES:
PIZZA BASES:

Here we are loading the pizza bases for our weekly distribution. We are so thankful to always have ready helping hands around to cheerfully assist!

MILK:

SANITARY STATION:

We thank the Lions for this very practical sanitary station which was donated to Emily’s Play School!

GRACELIFE:

We always have a beautiful time of worship before at our Sunday Gatherings. It is a blessed time to learn and grow together!

We always have a beautiful time of worship before at our Sunday Gatherings. It is a blessed time to learn and grow together!

Until now I, Rita, have been b=heading up our Kids Church. Here we are praying for Anthea as she will be continuing in my place after we leave.
We usually allow time for different ones to share testimonies of the Lord's goodness!

Our aim is for everyone to "come to a knowledge of the truth" (1 Timothy 2:4) and so we always encourage everyone to follow along in their own Bibles and learn to find the Scriptures.

LIFEGROUPS:

We are happy that JB, our local campus pastor, will be carrying on the teaching of the LifeGroups in our absence. Each of the groups have been increasing in recent times and we are  happy about this.

FAREWELL EVENT:

Farewell Event,
We were very honored when we, the last weekend before leaving South Africa for now, were honored with an amazing Farewell Event.
We were show much love and appreciation as many stood up thanking us for what we had done while here and testifying of the impact we had had on their lives as we helped them come to know the Lord better and to walk in their identity in Christ.
We had many speakers and at the end I, Rita, had an opportunity to stand up and thank everyone in return. Before leaving we were served nice refreshments, coffee and tea!

In closing we would like to share an inspiring prophecy that someone we didn’t know and had never met got for us.
We went to pick up a lady that wanted to come to church with us. While waiting for her in the car outside her house, a brother of hers came out on his way to work. He stopped to greet us and briefly introduce himself after which he was on his way. He suddenly stopped, came back and said, “The Lord says, “Everything is going according to plans!”. He then started walking away again, but came back a 2nd time. He said, “I see a carriage drawn by a horse. The horse is doing all the work. The Lord says to sit back, relax and enjoy the ride. He repeated this adding, it is not in your strength, the horse is doing all the work. The Lord says to  sit back, relax and enjoy the ride!” He then added, “I see international. I see youth ministry. I see the young people coming to you with their testimonies.”
Needless to say this was a very encouraging word for us to receive. Not only did it confirm that we are doing the right thing, but also that the Lord has a ministry waiting for us up ahead! Our journey with the Lord has always been exciting, challenging and fulfilling, and as said earlier we invite you to join with us as we continue to endeavour to establish the kingdom of God upon earth!
We thank you in advance for your prayers and continued support which will be a great help and comfort to us. May you be mightily blessed for your love and sacrificial sowing into the preaching of the Gospel!

We would like to encourage you that have stood by us for years and have seen that our labors of love have not been in vain to please continue to partner with us as we face new challenges in spreading the gospel and establishing to kingdom of God in the hearts of men.
We are challenged to be starting from scratch again and at the same time very inspired. We feel reassured that the future is as bright as the promises of God and that  we will be part of the promised great rival of the last days.
We love and appreciate each and everyone of you.
