Dear Ones,

We want to thank you for your love, prayers and partnership. Together we are changing the world for Jesus and bringing the gospel to a very needy country, Denmark.

Seen below are some of us who met up on a Saturday to reach out to people on the street. The lady next to me is from the Philippines and likes to go with us as she says she is learning from us. This month we were out several times. One person prayed with us to receive the Lord and a lot of seeds were sown via conversations and gospel tracts. by partnering with us. All of this is made possible due to your support whether financial, or through your love, prayers and encouragement. As a team we do it better. We without you would not be able to accomplish this.

1. OUTREACH:

2. BIBLE STUDIES:

We are studying on many different topics and have also started making our study material available in both English and Danish. We are looking into possibly teaching at the church during the week to be more easily available for everybody to join.

3.MISSIONARY FELLOWSHIP:

We had an inspiring evening of fellowship with this missionary couple working in Thailand where they have an impressive ministry. They also enjoyed hearing about our ministry here. They are Norwegian and Danish and usually visit here once a year.

4.TRACTS:

This month we printed more tracts than usual as we have more people helping to distribute them. The Word is being preacher!

5.FOOD DISTRIBUTION:

This month we were asked to do double shift as we were needed to help on both Tuesdays and Fridays. This coming moth we will be mainly helping on Fridays, but will be on call for Tuesday as well, should need be. We are happy to be a help and blessing to this important ministry

6.THE LIGHTHOUSE:

Being baptized here is our Iranian friend whom we first befriended in Café Respect. We later led her to the Lord and the church. This month she was baptized. I, Rita, was asked to write a short letter with a meaningful message for her on her special day, which I did. Praise the Lord!

After the baptism we had a church family lunch. Everyone contributed a dish to the meal.

7.PRAYER MEETING:

Every Wednesday night the church has prayer meetings. All are welcome. We also share testimonies & any special Word the Lord puts on our hearts or showed us during the week.

8.FEEDING WORD:

Fighting the Good Fight of Faith

Key Scripture: 1 Timothy 6:12 — “Fight the good fight of faith…”

Core Meaning

To fight the good fight of faith is to hold firmly to God’s Word, resist everything that contradicts it, and live from the victory Jesus already won. It is a spiritual fight, not physical — a fight to stay in faith, speak faith, and walk by faith until the promise manifests.

Why It’s a “Good” Fight

Jesus already won (Col. 2:15). ; Victory is guaranteed for the believer (1 John 5:4); We fight from victory, not for victory.

The believer’s only battle is the battle to remain in faith.

What This Fight Involves

1. Fighting Unbelief

Doubt opposes faith. You choose God’s Word over:

Feelings, circumstances, fear, delay, opposition

2. Fighting the Enemy’s Lies

Satan works through deception (John 8:44). You resist by:

renewing your mind; speaking Scripture; rejecting thoughts that contradict truth

3. Fighting Weariness

Faith requires endurance (Heb. 10:35–36).

Key instructions:

Don’t throw away your confidence; Endure; You will receive the promise

4. Fighting to Stay in the Spirit

Faith thrives in:

Peace; joy; love; righteousness

You resist being pulled into:

Offense; fear; anxiety; anger; discouragement

How to Fight the Good Fight

1. With the Word

Jesus said, “It is written.”

You fight by:

finding Scriptures for your situation; speaking them daily; declaring them during attack

2. With Your Mouth

Faith is released through speaking (2 Cor. 4:13).

You:

declare God’s promises; refuse negative speech; command mountains to move

3. By Standing Firm

(Eph. 6:13)

Standing means: refusing to quit; refusing to change your confession; refusing to be moved by circumstances

4. By Keeping Your Eyes on Jesus

Faith rises when your focus is on Him, not the storm.

5. Through Obedience

Every act of obedience strengthens faith.

6. Through Praise

Praise is a spiritual weapon that shifts the atmosphere.

7. Through Community

Faith grows in fellowship; isolation weakens it.

What You Are Fighting FOR

a living, active faith; a strong confession; a pure heart; hope that endures; clear spiritual vision;

steady obedience; joy that sustains

You are not fighting people, God’s will, or for victory — you are fighting from victory.

What You Are Fighting AGAINST

Unbelief; fear; discouragement; delay; spiritual pressure; demonic lies; weariness; distractions; fleshly reactions; negative words; contradicting circumstances

Practical Application

Identify Your Fight

Write down:

1.The promise you stand on

2.The opposition you face

3.Scriptures you will use

4.Your daily confession

Faith Declaration

“I fight the good fight of faith. I hold fast to God’s Word. I refuse to quit. I walk in victory.”

Prayer Points

Strength to stand; Grace to believe despite delay; Discernment against lies; Boldness to speak the Word; Endurance to finish; Joy to sustain faith; Peace to guard your heart

Final Summary

Fighting the good fight of faith means holding tightly to God’s Word, resisting doubt, speaking truth, standing firm, staying in the Spirit, obeying God, praising through pressure, and living from Christ’s victory.

Faith is not forcing God to act — it is remaining convinced of what He has already said.

9.WHATS-APP AND PRAYER MINISTRY::

Through our WhatsApp ministry we are presently ministering to over 100 people from approximately 20 different nationalities. Via this ministry we often receive prayer request for healing, for jobs, etc.

F. from Iran wrote: I have gotten my Danish driving licence and now have a fulltime job. I know that you and Philip have been praying for me. I am very thankful for that. I would very much like to see you soon again.

N. wrote: Your very best gift is that you pray for me.

K. Wrote: Thank you so much for praying for me and for listening to the Lord. It encourages me. (I had received a word of knowledge for her while praying for others and were directed to pray for her as well, praise the Lord)

Many from the foreign community in South Africa are asking for assistance and prayer due to the present situation there of foreigners no longer being welcome. Although they have their paper work in order many are afraid to hire them.

We have also had several old acquaintances from there contacting us wanting to receive the Word we send out as they are in need of hope, encouragement and strengthening.

Thank you for keeping this ministry and the people we are reaching through it n your prayers1

10.PRAYER REQUEST:

SPECIAL NEEDS:

VEHICLE: We need to take the vehicle for a undercarriage rust-protection treatment. The Danish weather, with snow, ice and salt strewn on the streets, Can otherwise be quite damaging. This treatment costs anywhere between US $ 800-1000. Please pray for the Lord to provide the needed funds before the winter sets in.

MINISTRY:

CARE GROUP: Philip and I have officially been asked to head up this group. To be effective requires that we get to know all the church members to a greater degree. Please pray for the Lord’s guidance in this, and to connect well with everybody.

BIBLE STUDY:

We have learned that the reason some do not want to join our study group is due to the area we live in, which apparently has a bed reputation. We are looking into possible holding our study group at the church. Please ray that the Lord will lead and guide concerning this, as it obviously will not be as intimate a setting.

ACTIVATION:

We would like to see more people joining us for outreach as the gospel truly needs to be preached and this is one of the best ways to grow in the Lord.

WHATS-APP MINISTRY: For the Lord to continue to add believers to be discipled

Dear Ones, When preparing to greet you here, besides expressing our deep appreciation for your love and support, the following scripture came to me: ⁹Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9) And Psalm 112:10 the last part of the verse: “the longings of the wicked will come to nothing”. The Lord is encouraging us to trust Him and to look to Him and not our circumstances. He is still in control and Daniel 11:32, again the last part of the verse says: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. The best thing we can do is to keep trusting the Lord redeeming the time developing our faith. We love all of you and are keeping you in our prayers.

1. OUTREACH:

This month there were two big city festivals. One was a Flower Festival, and the other was the also yearly H.C. Andersen Festival (the Danish world famous fairy story teller). Both festivals were on a weekend and attracted lots of people. We had a lot of deep conversations with people and some prayed and received the Lord. Two of our church worship leaders joined us on one occasion and sang and witnessed over the microphone.

2. BIBLE STUDIES:

Here we had a lesson on spirit-soul-and body. Showing how we are a three-part being. Were born spiritually dead (chair laying down) and were raised spiritually when accepting Christ (the while sheet laying on the couch). We also went into our identity in Christ, our inheritance in Christ as well as our new abilities in Christ. This study went over several weeks and is still going.

We also recently started giving everyone a turn being the one to start the meeting by sharing something from the Word that stood out to them that week, or something new the learned. The person to start will get volunteer one week in advance. Everyone is a excited to have this opportunity to lead and it is a good challenge that causes us to stir up and prepare in advance. Here our friend Fillip is sharing about some of the different names of God and their meaning.

3.TRACTS:

This month our Danish friend Fillip and I also worked on improving one of our tracts. It was one with a salvation message that I had prepared already while in South Africa. I had called it “Born Again. Are You?”, but we decided to change the title to “It’s So Easy!” to make it sound more attractive. We reworked the Danish translation as well and now have new improved version. With the two city festivals we printed hundred of tracts in preparation and many people were reached!

4.FOOD DISTRIBUTION:

We are carrying on the weekly food distribution where we volunteer on a weekly basis. We miss having out precious granddaughter here working side by side with us, but we are happy to know that she returned safely and is getting all ready to carry on her studies there. — Besides the Food Distribution we also had a big major cleaning of our venue Café Respect. We were about 10-15 women working side by side for about 3 hours.

5.LIGHTHOUSE:

Since the beginning of August our church again started having Bible studies before the service. The Bible studies start at 10:15 and the service begins at 11:00 am. For the Bible study we are presently going through a series on apologetics by Wesley Huff. Philip and I have been able to attend each morning since this new series began. Before the summer holidays we went through an inspiring course on the power and need for the Holy Spirit. The photo above we was taken on the pastor’s birthday and here we are getting ready to pray for him and his family.

6. PRAYER MEETING:

Every Wednesday night we also get together for an evening prayer meeting. This is a time of fellowship, sharing testimonies and then praying for whatever the Lord may lead us to pray for. We have come to really enjoy these evenings as it is uniting and help us get to know each other better and be aware of what different ones may be going through, so we in turn can keep the different requests in our personal prayers later on.

7.TESTIMONY:

Last month anyone interested were invited to a meeting in the church where the need for a “Care Group” were discussed. The aim would be to be aware of in tune with other members of the church so that n o one would be neglected or forgotten in their time of need. Philip and I were asked to help be the coordinators of this group.

Philip and I were personally aware of a sweet Iranian women who had not attended church for the last couple of weeks or so. We reached out to her, found out that she had not been well, and we arranged to come see her.

The day we visited she had woken up with a big headache. She also had pain in her left shoulder and could not lift her arm above her head. Besides that she felt a strong tension in the left part of her body, esp. her face and said that she felt something like the size of a tennis ball was pulling her face to the left.

Sometime back she had also had an operation that had gone bad. The surgeon had forgotten to close up her intestines, had cut her stomach the wrong direction (which caused it to be extremely small now.

From home we had prepared some verses on healing (in Danish as her English is not too good). We also prepared a class for her on how to receive and how to release faith. She is still quite young in the Lord and has much to learn.

After our time of fellowship and sharing the Word we prayed for her and the Lord answered beautifully. All the pain in her head left. The tension in her face left as well. And when we prayed for her stomach she felt like there were “butterflies” in her stomach and that something was happening.

We were praising the Lord for Hi healing touch and fellowshipping some more, when Philip had a check that something was trying to get back on her. Hre stopped what we were doing, stood up, placed his hand on her shoulder and prayed for it. Her immediate reaction was that her shoulder suddenly felt really hot. And when Philip asked her to raise her hand above her head she was able to do so without and problem and no pain.

What a joy to serve our Lord and to be able to make a real difference in the lives of so many needy people! We praise the Lord for His goodness and faithfulness to His Word! YYY

We saw our friend about a week later and she was bubbling and happy telling us that she has been feeling so well and full of energy. Praise the Lord!

8.FEEDING WORD:

As mentioned earlier we had an amazing time of family reunion. We went sailing along the western coast of Sweden, I met my nephew’s two daughters for the fist time, the oldest of whom is now 20 years old. We saw a lot of different and very attractive places in Sweden, and on the last day we even went to Norway. Our granddaughter has now been to all of the Scandinavian countries. Since returning to Denmark from Sweden, we visited Fredericia where her oldest sister was born and went to a beautiful sandy beach on one of the hottest days in this summer’s heat wave. It went to 34 degrees which is very unusual for Denmark.

8.FEEDING WORD:

CLASS: How Faith Comes & How Faith Is Released

A foundational teaching for believers who want to walk in real, active faith.

PART 1 — HOW FAITH COMES

1. Faith Comes by Hearing the Word of God

Romans 10:17 “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

Key idea:

Faith does not come by wishing, hoping, or trying harder.

It comes by exposure to God’s voice — primarily through Scripture.

Key points:

Faith is not automatic; it must be fed.

Faith grows in the same direction as what you hear repeatedly.Hearing produces confidence, certainty, and inner persuasion.

2. Faith Comes by Hearing the Word Correctly

Mark 4:24

“Take heed what you hear.”

Not all “hearing” produces faith.

Faith grows when the Word is heard with:

Reverence, Understanding, Agreement, Expectation

Luke 8:18

“Take heed how you hear.”

The heart posture matters.

3. Faith Comes by Revelation from the Holy Spirit

Ephesians 1:17–18

Paul prays for the eyes of the heart to be enlightened.

Faith rises when the Spirit makes the Word alive, personal, and clear.

Key points:

The Spirit turns information into revelation.

Revelation produces boldness.

Boldness produces action.

4. Faith Comes by Remembering God’s Works

Psalm 78:42–43

Israel fell into unbelief because they “did not remember His power.”

Psalm 103:2 “Forget not all His benefits.”

Remembering God’s past faithfulness strengthens present faith.

5. Faith Comes by Fellowship with God

Jude 20

“Building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit.”

Prayer in the Spirit strengthens faith internally.

Key points:

Faith grows in God’s presence.

Faith grows when the heart is quiet before Him.

Faith grows when the believer stays connected to the Vine (John 15:5).

6. Faith Comes by Obedience

James 1:22

“Be doers of the word…”

Every act of obedience increases your capacity to trust God again.

Faith grows when it is used, just like a muscle.

PART 2 — HOW FAITH IS RELEASED

Faith is not only received — it must be expressed.

Faith that stays inside is incomplete.

Here are the biblical ways faith is released:

1. Faith Is Released by Speaking God’s Word

This is the primary way faith is expressed.

Mark 11:23 “Whoever says to this mountain…”

2 Corinthians 4:13

“We believe, therefore we speak.”

Key points:

Faith speaks to situations, not just about them.

Faith speaks God’s Word, not human opinion.

Faith speaks with authority, not fear.

Speaking is the bridge between believing and receiving.

2. Faith Is Released by Acting on God’s Word

James 2:17 “Faith without works is dead.”

Hebrews 11 is full of people who did something because they believed.

Examples:

Noah built.

Abraham left.

Moses stretched out his rod.

The woman with the issue of blood pressed through the crowd.

Key points:

Faith acts even when feelings disagree.

Faith acts before circumstances change.

Faith acts because God has spoken.

3. Faith Is Released by Prayer

Mark 11:24 “Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you receive…”

Prayer is not begging — it is faith expressed toward God.

Key points:

Prayer releases faith into God’s hands.

Prayer aligns the heart with God’s will.

Prayer is the believer’s legal right to enforce heaven’s promises.

4. Faith Is Released by Praise

Acts 16:25–26 Paul and Silas praised — and the prison shook.

Psalm 34:1–4 Praise shifts the atmosphere and releases faith.

Key points:

Praise is faith celebrating before the answer comes.

Praise breaks heaviness and unbelief.

Praise invites God’s intervention.

5. Faith Is Released by Standing Firm

Ephesians 6:13 “Having done all… stand.”

Standing is not passive — it is faith refusing to retreat.

Key points:

Standing means holding your confession.

Standing means resisting doubt.

Standing means refusing to let circumstances dictate truth.

6. Faith Is Released by Love

Galatians 5:6 “Faith works through love.”

Love keeps the heart clean, free from offense, bitterness, and fear — all of which choke faith.

10.PERSONAL:

At the beginning of the month our precious granddaughter returned to the States. It was a great privilege to be able to spend some precious time getting together. She loved walking and literally introduced us to many nature paths right around where we live, which we were not aware of as they are partially “hidden”. But which we have since then been able to greatly enjoy.

Philip is als back to school and our ministry is back in full swing with some added responsibilities and challenges. We are constantly learning and being stretched and we are very thankful for all that the Lord is doing in our lives.

A special ‘THANK YOU’ goes to each of you who are helping to make our ministry here possible. We are truly honored to have each of you partnering with us and supporting us in prayer.

Below: Philip on one of our beautiful nature walks by a stream near our house.
