November's News. Making a difference in the life of many!

Dear Ones,

We are excited to share the highlights of this month's events with you. Because of you love, interest, concern and faithful support we are changing the world and together making a big difference in the lives of many. What everybody needs is love and God’s love as revealed through Jesus and His finished work on the cross is the answer. Thank you so much for helping us to minister to people spiritually as well as physically. Jesus came to minister to the whole man.

GRACELIFE:

Here I, Rita, am teaching on Romans 10:9-10 bringing out how Christianity is not blind faith and sharing some of the historical facts and evidence of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus  Christ.

Here the elders of the church are laying hands on and praying for Emily, our campus pastor, before her  10 days mission trip to Albania. We are all looking forward to hearing  some wonderful testimonies!

Philip teaching on the “Letters to the Seven Churches”, the exhortations and the encouragement Jesus gave to the churches then and the parallel to our contemporary churches .

KIDS' CHURCH:

The Children usually join us for a united time of worship, entering in wholeheartedly. It is a joy having them there with us watching them clapping, singing and rocking out to the music!

Our time with the kids usually goes very quickly as we have our story, question and answer time, memory and review and of course some fun games!

LIFE-GROUPS:

Here we are leading our LifeGoup in Nomzamo. It is one of the highlights of our week to get together with this precious group of people. Sadly we have from time to time (and again once this month) had to cancel one of our study times due to strikes and rioting in Nomzamo. But it makes us count our blessing for the times that we are able to get together, and want to redeem the time and opportunities we have.

SUPPLIES:
WEET-BIX:

We collected and distributed 14 boxes of Weet-Bix! -To work for the company you must be athletic! :)

MILK:

We also collected and distributed 100 liters of milk. We than all the companies that assist us!

S. A. HARVESTER:

We are also very thankful for SA Harvesters  who have now committed to assist on a weekly basis!

SHOPPING:

Philip shopping for the Angels Kitchen in Sir Lowry’s Pass –staples & (see below) chicken soup bones!

WOOLWORTHS:

PIZZA BASES AND BREAD:

We are very grateful for the tremendous blessing the bread and pizza bases are in feeding so many. At times there has been such an abundance that we have had to make two trips. :)

Sunshine Kids Sir Lowry’s Pass! The kids always love to help and are very eager to get to carry something. What is donated here not only goes for the children but some especially needy families as well.

BRIEF GLIMPSE OF A FEW KITCHENS:
ANGEL'S KITCHEN:

The Angels’ Kitchen feeds in two places daily. First by Jessica’s house where the food is cooked. Once the cooking and feeding is done there her and her helpers load the 2nd pot of food in a wheelbarrow and go up by the train tracks which is a very poor and often neglected area because it is a bit remote.
They feed approximately 100 people a day which includes breakfast for approx. 20 kids before school.

MILA'S KITCHEN:

GORDON'S BAY BEACH CLEAN-UP:

We did a big clean-up of Gordon’s Bay beach together with all the available members of the Lions’ Club.

CONFERENCE:

We also had the privilege of attending a conference by Mike and Carrie Pickett  organized by Chris Bible College. I, Rita, also had the joy of reconnecting with some of my former fellow students!

In closing we want to say that we have also seen people getting healed, supernatural unexpected supply, people coming to the Lord, etc.
We are very exciting as we feel the Lord is preparing us for something much bigger and better than what we have been up to this far. We are not yet sure exactly what, but we are sure of this that as we aim to stay tuned in to Him and follow His leading and leadership to the best of our ability He will reveal it to us step by step as we need to know. Meanwhile we are enjoying this time of preparation!
Thank you to all of you who are on this journey with us. As a united team, dedicated to His call we can have a tremendous impact, and we believe we already do, and the world will never be the same. Let it be said os us as it was of the disciples in Jesus day, “These who have turned the world upside down have come here too!” (Acts 17:6)

Much love and appreciation,
Philip and Rita
