Amazing August News 2022

Dear partners, friends, supporters, and all,
First of all we would like to say that we greatly appreciate you and the vital part you play in our ministry. Together we are building the kingdom of God on earth and showing a tangible example of His love and care. Thank you so much for your commitment and dedication. Many lives are being touched through the ministry. People are coming to know the Lord and growing stronger in their relationship with Him through the teaching and daily Word ministered to them. Some are also receiving healing in their bodies, or other answers to prayer such as finding a job, etc. We are excited by all that the Lord is doing through our combined efforts. Thank you for being a vital part of our combined efforts!

WOMEN'S DAY 2022:

On Tuesday the 8th we had a beautiful Women’s celebration in Sir Lowry’s Pass. It was hosted by Emily and co-hosted by me, Rita. There were several ladies from the village testifying beautifully of how coming to know the Lord through His Word and a more intimate walk with Him has changed their lives forever, and brought about amazing transformations. There were also some who stood up and sang beautiful heart moving songs for us.

Amazing cakes and goodies were provided as well., and a team of precious ladies worked hard to serve everyone!

However the highlight was when our guest speaker, Daleen Boysen, blessed us all with a good word about the power of a transformed heart, seeing ourselves the way God sees us and walking in our new identity.

S.A. HARVESTER:

Long back we were encouraged to contact S.A. Harvester for assistance with out feeding schemes. However nothing seemed to come of it. But then, through a miraculous round about way, they contacted us (via Lions) and we received a big “once off”, but potentially semi regularly. –We hope &pray!

GRACELIFE:

This month I taught about the flow of the H.S. (see John 7:38-39) staying within it’s banks of love (God is love) and truth (Jesus is the Word and He said He is truth (John 14:6).

Philip taught on: Our Helper and Comforter and illustrated Spirit, Soul and Body (1 Thessalonians 5:23).

We also had some fantastic Word studies on the book of Colosians. We divided into groups and with our teams dug deeper to mine all the wisdom and to see how how Paul established the deity of Jesus!

BEANIES AND JERSEYS:

We want to thank all the precious ladies who invested their time and effort to knit beautiful beanies for the children.  These beanies were distributed via the Lions’ Club in several poor communities, one of them being Sir Lowry’s Pass.

We also want to thank Wendy our precious Gracelife family friend who for years in a row has assisted us with hand knitted jerseys and beanies. Which also were distributed in Sir Lowry’s Pass. Thank you!

BREAD AND PIZZA BASES:

Our regular contribution of bread and pizza bases  has become a regular stable for many of the kitchens in Sir Lowry’s Pass—every one looks forward to the delivery and sometime when we pass through the village we hear the children excitedly yelling, “Pizza, pizza!” We are very thankful for this much appreciated contribution and the big difference it has/is making!

Our Latest News . Don't miss this!

Dear friends, family, partners, and supporters,
Thank you so much for you love for the Lord and commitment to the ministry. Together we are making a big difference in the lives of the many who are being touched.
One of our highlights took place at the beginning of the month when the Gracelife campuses united to put on a tow days event to reach out to the children and youth of Sir Lowry’s Pass.

SPECIAL EVENT IN SIR LOWRY'S PASS:

In the morning of the first day over 200 children were ministered to, and in the afternoon approximately 80 young people showed up. We later divided them into groups for more personal ministry.

The following day there was a special ministry time for adults! A lot of lives were impacted during these two days, and there is now fruit that remains. We are especially thankful to say that some young people’s lives are being radically changed. We made ongoing connections via this event! Praise the Lord!

GRACELIFE:

During the month I did a teaching on: From here to eternity.  And Philip taught on: Always be ready to give an answer.

Someone who had visited our church only twice, and had been led to the Lord, suddenly passed away. We are relieved to know that we had received the Lord, and at the same time impressed upon that the Day if Salvation is NOW! We need to reach out to as many as possible and as soon as possible.

KIDS' CHURCH:

Here the children, based on Shayne Holesgrove book “Rooted” which is of course based on the Bible, through skits and other illustrations, are learning about some of the many benefits of salvation.

MANDELA DAY:

The village also celebrated Mandela Day with Miss South Africa in attendance, and a hot meal served for all in the central square. We delivered approx. 120 sacks (+ 10 pieces in each) pizza bases/bread.

SPECIAL EVENT AT MILA'S:
We also attended a special event at Mila’s Daycare in Sir Lowry’s Pass. I was invited to give a speech in which I was able to glorify the Lord for the way He has blessed and prospered Mila over the years. At the end I received a beautiful bouquet in recognition of Force4Good and our contributions.

 BRIGHT STARS - NOMZAMO:

Bringing our monthly shopping to Bright Stars Kitchen. This kitchen in Nomzamo serves approximately 300 people from Monday through Friday.

ANGELS' KITCHEN -SIR LOWRY'S PASS:

Bringing monthly shopping to Angels' Kitchen in Sir Lowry's Pass. Jessica started out serving 60-70 kids a day, but has now expanded to over 100 a day as she has felt moved to reach out to a much neglected area in the village.

LIFE-GROUPS AND OUTREACH:
This is our early morning Bible study in Nomzamo. We are happy to repost that the Lord is adding people to each of the three groups we are presently leading. :)

In the photo below Philip is ministering to a group of people already lined up for the soup kitchen to open. They were all open to the message and prayed with Philip to receive the Lord!

This month we have had an especially rewarding month visiting several people in their homes to pray for the sick, visiting the HH hospital, establishing new connections, having people over for the first time, being blessed in so many ways in order to be a blessing. Thank you so much for the vital part you play in partnering with us and enabling us to keep going for Jesus! THANK YOU!

Much love and appreciation,

Philip and Rita
